The Human Behind the Work
My interests don't have a theme so much as a vibe — horses, classic cars, rockstars, comedians, and an almost professional dedication to Halloween.
I'm an avid equestrian who fancies herself a dressage rider. My equine partner, Trooper — a 19-year-old Drum Horse I trained from the ground up — keeps me humble, grounded, and constantly covered in horse hair.
My home life revolves around a college-aged son, a very patient husband, one troubled rescue dog, and two thoroughly ungrateful cats.
Side Projects
Some of that creative energy has gone into personal projects — one practical, one written.
Product Design
My father and I designed a user-friendly hay cart to simplify the process of soaking hay to remove sugars for my sick horse. The product is loved by equestrians who need to care for horses with similar dietary needs — a real-world design problem solved from the ground up.

Writing
Dressage Today Online organized a competition for amateur bloggers — which I won. I've published multiple blogs focusing on the humor of how riders cope with attempting to achieve their goals in dressage. Turns out writing about failing gracefully is a marketable skill.
